Friday, May 1: CATCH THE SPIRIT!

1:00-4:00 - ARRIVAL – Follow signs to Lodge
  • Check in at the Lodge, find your building and bunk, unpack, wander around, smell, and sense Lodestar again.
 
4:00 - SOCIAL TIME AT SCHAAD'S - Lodge Deck

5:30 - WELCOME
  • Review Schedule and Activities
 
6:00 - DINNER - Lodge
  • Business – camp rules and information
  • Introductions
 
7:00 - CATCH THE SPIRIT! - Lodge
 
8:00 - GATHER 'ROUND PEOPLE AND SING-A-LONG - Lodge
  • Bring your guitars, musical instruments, and BTL songbooks, and get ready to sing your favorite Lodestar tunes!

9:30 - CAMPFIRE or STAR GAZING
  • Campfire: Singing and S’mores at the Campfire Circle (weather permitting).
  • Star Gazing: self-guided, in the Meadow. Bring your celestial stories, star chart, telescope, and a flashlight! Meet and coordinate with others at the Lodge.

Saturday, May 2: CELEBRATE THE SPIRIT!

7:00-8:00 - CHAI TEA - BBQ Area (backside of the lodge)

8:00 - BREAKFAST - - Lodge

9:30-11:30 - NATURALIST TALK AND WALK - Lodge
  • Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park Naturalist.

9:30-12:30 ON-GOING ACTIVITIES, your choice:
  • Explore Lodestar - Nature Walk: Self-led. Pick up the Guide in the Lodge.
  • Art Projects: Apricot Hall.
  • Hang out, start a “Jam session.”
  • Walk to the Middle Fork of the Mokelumne River.
  • Take a 1/2 hour drive to the Fork of the Mokelumne River. Map HERE

12:30 - LUNCH
  • Honoring Hank Nagle

2:00-5:00 - AFTERNOON IN THE MEADOW - Gather at the Oak Tree
  • Bring a chair or mat, read, chat with friends, snooze, and enjoy!

2:00-5:00 ON-GOING ACTIVITIES, your choice:
  • Explore Lodestar - Nature Walk: Self-led. Pick up the Guide in the Lodge.
  • Art Projects: Apricot Hall.
  • Hang out, start a “Jam session.”
  • Walk to the Middle Fork of the Mokelumne River.

3:30 - 4:30 - BUZZ’S QUIET TIME – Location of your choice.

4:00 - SOCIAL TIME AT SCHAAD'S - Lodge Deck
  • Wear your bandana, and send a postcard home.

6:00 - DINNER - Lodge

7:00 - GROUP PHOTO - Lodge

7:30 - CELEBRATE THE SPIRIT! - Lodge
  • Bring a song, a poem, something to share!

8:30 - LODESTAR ROCKS ALL NIGHT LONG! - Lodge
  • Dance to your favorites hits from the old days!

9:30 - Campfire or Star Gazing
  • Campfire: singing and s’mores at the campfire circle (weather permitting).
  • Star Gazing: self-guided, in the Meadow. Bring your celestial stories, star chart, telescope, and a flashlight! Meet and coordinate with others at the Lodge.

9:30 - LIVE THE SPIRIT! - Eymann Grove or Lodge TBD
