Plans are afoot for more early morning Chai at Lodestar 2020.
Chai Wallah Peter Livingston wants to share his skills and art with others, so Richard Larson jumped onboard and began training in May.

Remember how I WANT TO BE A CHAI WALLAH - IN CALIFORNIA??? So I "accidentally" found this guy. (A lot of people in India are referred to as a "guy;" or "this guy;" or "that guy;" or "a guy;" or maybe even "the guy.") So "the guy" at the Ananda Sangha office said that there is "a guy" down the street who sells art and prepares packages for shipping. I was told to check with "that guy" to see if he could help me prepare the package that I needed to send home. Well, "that guy" was Ajay, and he WAS able to help me wrap my package to Indian Post Office specs. In the process, he mentioned that he had been a Chai Wallah for over 5 years. Game on! In this video Ajay conveys the "traditional way" way of making Chai. Using a wood or charcoal fire. And clay pottery cups to drink out of. Note the art on the wall that Ajay sells in his shop. - PML |
