Planning for Back to Lodestar brought back many memories, laughs, and a bit of bittersweet sadness for the planning team.
As we reflected on our past Lodestar experiences, a common thread emerged among us; it was the people at Lodestar who touched our lives in one way or another without us even knowing or understanding their influence at the time. It may have been the cook, the counselor, the art director, the maintenance guy, the minister, or even a fellow camper - and some of these endearing souls may no longer be with us. In the spirit of Lodestar, we remembered each these people throughout the October 2018 BTL weekend and on Sunday morning. They are gone but their love remains with us. |
