It's been a blast being part of the Back To Lodestar Planning Team! Great to rekindle old friendships. And also to make some new friendships, with the common bond of Lodestar experiences that has shown its power to bring strangers together. One thing (among others, to be sure) stands out: a strong emphasis on the music that we listened to, sang, and were immersed in. Team members have been brimming over with song! They're eager to share favorite bands, songs, and musical memories. So this blog is created to be a musical outlet for the BTL Planning Team members. Check below in the comments section to discover the music that is indelibly burnt into the minds and hearts of some of the people who are working to bring BTL to life.

So, ONE of my favorites is Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On?" Released in 1971, it is on the backside of my Lodestar years. I found this 1983 clip on YouTube; it has a very nice, long intro that speaks to the importance of music in so many ways. Leave a Reply. |
